Tricia Hewitt-Huckabee

HR Manager

Tricia is an HR leader and consultant with progressive experience building HR functions from the ground up for startups, high-growth companies, and publicly traded organizations alike. She holds a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oswego, and, true to her creative side, a second Bachelor's degree in Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. She is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certified through HRCI.

Over the course of her career, Tricia has led HR strategy, compensation, and total rewards programs for organizations ranging from early-stage medical device manufacturers to a publicly traded oil and gas company managing compensation budgets over $100 million. She's just as comfortable architecting HR policy from scratch as she is leading enterprise-wide systems implementations.

Tricia loves helping small business clients build the infrastructure — the policies, processes, and procedures — that let them grow with confidence. She's drawn to the mix of big-picture strategy and hands-on execution and finds real satisfaction in helping founders go from "no HR support" to a structure that scales. When she's not deep in compensation benchmarking, Tricia is likely refinishing an old piece of furniture, dabbling in interior design (that design degree doesn't go to waste), or cooking up something new for her food blog and cookbook. A proud boy mom, she splits her time between her home base in Golden, Colorado and her beloved New York.
