Ivy Calgaard

Accounting Optimization Specialist

 

Ivy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and German Language from Belmont University and began to hone her knowledge of Accounting through on the job experience working with various CFOs, CPAs, and controllers. As a life-long “neatnik” her natural strengths in organization and efficiency compliment the skills she has built in the last fifteen years of full-cycle accounting, internal audit, and implementing technology to streamline processes. When working both with clients and internally at Accounting Prose, it brings Ivy great satisfaction to review processes and look for ways to continuously implement improvements. When she’s not evaluating processes, you can find Ivy improving her turns on the ski slopes in Telluride, doing breath of fire in a Kundalini Yoga class, on a casual walk about town with her husband and dog, or cozied up on the couch with a crochet hook streaming the latest Dateline episode.
